The contest, led by the Confederation of European Paper Industries (CEPI), will shortlist eight finalists, three of whom will receive the award and automatically be submitted to the ICFPA global competition.

We invite all early-stage researchers to apply for a chance to receive the Blue Sky Young Researchers Europe award! The contest, led by the Confederation of European Paper Industries (CEPI), will shortlist eight finalists, three of whom will receive the award and automatically be submitted to the ICFPA global competition. Check out the winners of the global competition this year, awarded only last week! 

The finalists will receive a paid trip to Brussels, Belgium, to present their work atEuropean Paper Week in November 2017, with free access to the event.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates must: 
- Have an idea that can revolutionise the paper industry 
- Be under 35 years of age 
- Currently be working under the supervision of a European research institute or university 
- Be fluent in English with good presentation skills

The procedure is simple: Fill in the online form, including your CV, a supporting letter and a short two-minute video of yourself explaining the project (in English).
