Tenure track position in the framework of

Energy is a field in which the challenges and obstacles to be overcome are crucial for our present and future society. The laboratory «Ingénierie des Matériaux Polymères» UMR 5223 is developing internationally recognised research activities in the field of (multi)functional polymer‐based materials. In this framework, the junior professor recruited will design (nano)structured polymer‐based materials (hybrid polymers (organic/inorganic), multimaterials or composites), with modular interaction capacities to develop selective polymer based‐materials enabling an integrative approach to systems and/or processes for applications related to the energy field such as hydrogen domain, CO2 recovery. The development of materials will be carried out using an eco‐responsible approach, allowing minimal environmental impact from design to the end of the system's life, with priority given at the latter stage to the possibility of recycling or regenerating materials.
Teaching will be done within the "Chemistry and Materials Science" Masters courses. The research and teaching activities will also be part of the Lyon Polymer Materials Science (LPMS) initiative of SFRI Graduate +, with the aim of strengthening and broadening international collaborations in the field of materials for energy.
Conditions to be met to apply to this 4 years tenure track position: hold a doctorate degree or a diploma whose equivalence is recognized, and to demonstrate significant research in the topic of the chair of junior professor
